Get Involved: Volunteer with CAM
As a voluntary organisation, CAM is always looking for dedicated individuals to help us in our mission to support those with coeliac disease and raise awareness about the gluten-free diet. Volunteering with CAM is a great way to make a meaningful impact, gain experience working in a non-profit organisation, and even become involved in patient advocacy.
Whether you have coeliac disease, know someone who does, or simply want to contribute to a great cause, we welcome your support!

Volunteer Roles

Social Media
- Plan social media strategy in advance.
- Design and create engaging social media posts.
- Propose ideas to improve user engagement and outreach.
Event Planning
- Event Manager: Generate ideas, plan, and implement events.
- Event Assistant: Help CAM during events (can be specific to certain events).
Content Writing (Newsletter, Online Content, Articles)
- Write and share information about coeliac disease, the latest research, gluten-free recipes, or travel tips.
- Proficiency in English is required; Maltese is a plus.
Sponsorships & Information Gathering
- Contact businesses to secure sponsorships for events and initiatives.
- Gather and compile information on gluten-free products, restaurant safety, and funding opportunities.
- Assist in expanding our discount scheme for gluten-free products.
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Assist with emails, member communications, and database management.
- Help with general administrative tasks to support CAM’s operations.
- Coordinate and maintain records of CAM’s initiatives.
