Coeliac Awareness Month 2026

Coeliac Awareness Month 2026

May, Coeliac Awareness Month, is just around the corner, and CAM has been working hard over the past weeks to bring you a series of informative sessions and supportive events. Our aim is to reach patients, families, and friends, helping raise more awareness about coeliac disease and the gluten-free diet.

Throughout May, we will be hosting a variety of events. Some talks are designed for newly diagnosed coeliacs, offering a quick introduction to managing the gluten-free diet, while others focus on sharing the daily realities faced by those living with the condition.

Whether you have been recently diagnosed or have been managing coeliac disease for years, we want you to know that you are not alone. There is a whole community here to support you.

We hope that through these events, you will find the support you have been looking for. Sometimes, even a five-minute chat with a fellow patient can make a difference. We are here for each other.

Events

Online Talks

To ensure we reach out to as many coeliac patients (and others) as possible, two talks will be organised multiple times.

You can pick your preferences on our form or register to the events from the links below.

Handling Gluten-Free Food at Home

We often focus on how restaurants should prepare gluten-free food. In this talk we will focus on what you can do at home to prepare safe gluten-free food. Useful for newly diagnosed patients or anyone who needs a refresher.

Coeliac Disease in Malta and Spain

Join us and Maria van der Hofstadt Rovira where we will delve into experiences of coeliac disease in Malta and Spain.

Open Session

We would like to give the floor to you! We will first start with sharing what CAM has been working on during the past few months and continue with your questions and feedback.
